ALL ACTIVITIES HAVE BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

RESPONSE TO COVID-19/RE-ENTRY PLANS

  1. The Bibles, Hymnals, and paperwork have been removed from the pews and stored in the Nursery Room.
  2. Hand Soap Wall Dispensers are going to be placed in the 2 bathrooms and the kitchen. Hand Sanitizer Wall Dispensers to be placed in the church entryway and wherever appropriate in the church.
  3. Several plastic bottles of Sanitizer Cleaner will be placed in the 2 bathrooms, kitchen and available for cleaning in general.
  4. Signs are posted in the Church Entry listing requirements to enter the church. Wearing masks (must do also when talking to Pastor Gretchen or Becky in office).  Washing hands, maintaining 6 feet of social distancing, not entering the church if you are not feeling well.
  5. A sign in sheet is also in the entryway at church. Whole name, phone number reason for entering church. We are keeping track of who enters the church as a tracking system is anyone gets sick.
  6. The pews in the Sanctuary will be marked accordingly as to where folks can sit. Members of the same household can sit together. Others will be seated by ushers as individuals or couples in the appropriate space with physical distancing.
  7. Carol Jordan will be the designated greeter as folks enter the church. She will ask the questions pertaining to your health that day, take you temperature, attendance, and your phone number. You will be directed up the stairway and ushers will take you to the appropriate seat. (The ramp is available for entrance for those who need it and an usher will assist you).  Ushers will also direct you from the Sanctuary to the door that exits to the ramp after service.
  8. When we open, reminders that masks must be worn during the entire service (are you able to do that?), we cannot sing, choir cannot sing, or even hum and we cannot have fellowship after the service due to concerns of potential spread of the virus.
  9. The Leader Group is having another meeting July 8th at 7pm to do a dry run/practice to work this through and work out any issues.

. We would like to think by August but that depends on the health situation in our area.
The Sunday Services will still be available on our FaceBook page
We all have one mission in mind and that is to keep every single one of our parish informed, as safe as possible and connected.
